The owners of BODEGALOYA, Ralph and Marty Loya, come from generations of family farmers. Both were raised eating fresh fruit and vegetables from various local farms. Marty grew-up on the 100 year old farm where BODEGALOYA currently sits. The bodega was created by Ralph retrofitting an original adobe shed and tool room. They both believe in contributing to the healthy food initiative in their community which is slowly becoming a rare commodity

A licensed architect employed by Versar will carry out the Cultural Resources Survey and submit their report to the THC, who will then decide whether to grant a Texas antiquities permit for the project to move forward.
Founded in July 1969, Versar has provided program and project management support to federal, state, and local government clients and industries worldwide. The company has evolved into an international provider of complex, multidisciplinary technical services.
Versar offers 50 years of proven experience, a longstanding presence in the industry, and domestic, international, and regional reach.
Society needs more water, and supplies are becoming unreliable. At Harmony Desalting our mission and promise is to secure water, always for people all around the world.
Since spinning out of MIT in 2021, we have demonstrated our batch RO process in two award-winning field deployments: Reclamation’s More Water Less Concentrate Challenge and the IDEaS Pop Up City Contest. In 2023, we won an Impact Medal at the Global Prize in Desalination. Over the next year, we are focused on deploying additional pilot demonstrations supported by the Bureau of Reclamation, the Texas Water Development Board, a Southeast Asian Water Utility, and the Saudi Water Authority.
The mission of the Bureau of Reclamation is to manage, develop, and protect water and related resources in an environmentally and economically sound manner in the interest of the American public.
Today, Reclamation is a contemporary water management agency with a Strategic Plan outlining numerous programs, initiatives and activities that will help the Western States, Native American Tribes and others meet new water needs and balance the multitude of competing uses of water in the West. Our mission is to assist in meeting the increasing water demands of the West while protecting the environment and the public’s investment in these structures. We place great emphasis on fulfilling our water delivery obligations, water conservation, water recycling and reuse, and developing partnerships with our customers, states, and Native American Tribes, and in finding ways to bring together the variety of interests to address the competing needs for our limited water resources.
The
Desalination and Water Purification Research Program (DWPR) works with Reclamation researchers and partners to develop more innovative, cost-effective, and technologically efficient ways to desalinate and treat water.
